Hi everyone,

I have no news about Katie.

Our activities are on-going, we have been busy with a whole bunch of things:

As I mentioned above, we've made contact with a group of volunteers from the US. They managed to get to the site last week and wanted to look for a friend of theirs. They were not allowed directly onto the site, and have been restricted to cleaning equipment, helping with scrubbing down SAR guys and dogs (decontamination). The group consists of 10 American emergency room doctors, engineers, and other qualified professionals. It is clear to me now that even if we had gone to Haiti, we would not have been able to conduct a search. The site is now completely fenced off and gated.

Lifewater got stuck in the Dominican Republic. Last I heard is that they were heading for Haiti via road yesterday. We have raised money for about 1.5 drinking water wells. Maybe we'll get to 2 wells... A well is around $3,000. Thanks for your donations to this cause, but please don't feel pressured.

Sincerely,
Thomas Franz, M.Sc., P.Geo.
